MY STORY

ABOUT CONNOR

California-born Hungarian. Fraternal twin. Military brat with the passport stamps to prove it. Shy boy turned extrovert. Lover of standardized tests, making mini pancakes, building domino towers, writing google reviews, and memorizing country capitals. Research extraordinaire. A take on fashion that’s as eclectic as my passport. Skyscrapers, [constant] travel, and organizing a gathering of friends – particularly around a homemade meal or in a foreign country – are my lifeblood. My name is Connor, “lover of hounds” but also a lover of life and all that is tasty, titillating, or unfamiliar.

PROFESSIONAL LIFE

I graduated from Northeastern University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, concentration in Finance. Best decision ever because I got to live in Boston for three years and gain work experience before merging into “the real world”. I even scored a co-op opportunity with the Harvard Management Company. After graduation, I went back to NYC to work for JP Morgan and eventually Corcoran Sunshine. It was my brewing passion from my teenage years onward to live in a big city and focus on big city things. I LOVE architecture and skyscrapers and following new projects breaking ground from architects like Bjarke Ingels, Frank Gehry, and Zaha Hadid. But I also had a taste for urban planning. I saw this career path as a convergence of both my love for cities and nature. In order to make this career happen, I knew I needed more education. So I went on to graduate with a Master’s Degree from Aalto University (Finland) in 2020. I also snuck in a year at Valencia Polytechnic University where Santiago Calatrava studied. After graduation, I sent out nearly 100 applications for positions in real estate development, architecture, and urban planning. I could not wait to return from my winter road trip to interview for a promising position in Vienna, Austria
